T-Rex: Angola Maldives, who was my superspy character despite the fact that James Bond is in the public domain in Canada, smirked sexily!
T-Rex: He'd cornered the villainous Brussels Samoa at last!!
T-Rex: And now it was time to do what he had been trying to do all these years... and MURDER Brussels Samoa. Yes, this superspy was going to do the murder act! He was going to do the thing that we all agreed it was not okay to commit, and which he was raised believing he'd never EVER do, but then his job told him it was actually okay.
Utahraptor: So does he do it? Does he kill Brussels?
T-Rex: He does not!!
T-Rex: But it's not for ethical reasons, it's because final endings preclude sequels. Instead, Brussels leaves during Angola's moment of hesitation, escaping to bother him for many more stories in the future! Endless stories! INFINITE STORIES!
T-Rex: Later on, Brussels became dimly conscious of how he was protected by the story, and this new meta-narrative awareness kinda ruined everything, but that's not for AT LEAST three sequels!
T-Rex: ...
T-Rex: Maybe two!
