T-Rex: The most important part of any joke is the punchline. So come up with that first! For example,
T-Rex: "So that's why penguins don't live on the moon!"
T-Rex: Now all you need to do is make that funny through context. Tada! DONE. Joke: created!
Dromiceiomimus: And yet, I'm not laughing!
T-Rex: That's your HOMEWORK. That part is HOMEWORK, Dromiceiomimus.
Utahraptor: Perhaps the setup is more important than the punchline after all?
T-Rex: Okay, sure, maybe!
T-Rex: SO: for a joke, first you need a setup. For example, "why is a raven like a writing desk?" Then come up with a hilarious punchline and you're set!
Utahraptor: And? Why IS a raven like a writing desk?
T-Rex: Okay, honestly, it's because they're both catastrophically terrible flavours of ice cream I invented and keep trying again thinking they'll get better but each time it's like WOW, NOPE
