T-Rex: One thing about intelligent life:
T-Rex: It sure does put a crazy high value on intelligent life!!
T-Rex: We're all "ooh, we're so special, the minds of the universe observing itself, it's just the greatest being intelligent and using it to build, like, machines and boats" - but isn't it a LITTLE self-serving that we tell ourselves stories like that?
T-Rex: MAYBE JUST A LI'L??
Utahraptor: Maybe fish tell themselves stories about how great it is to swim and die!
T-Rex: EXACTLY!
T-Rex: Maybe COCKROACHES tell stories about how great it is to show up somewhere and then never evolve, self-aggrandizing myths about how they're hard to kill and that's beautiful, how they'll be there till the end, the eternal ovipositors and compound eyes of the universe.
Off panel: ...Gross.
T-Rex: Hey, those ovis aren't gonna positor themselves! You gotta have a special tube-like organ for that!!
Off panel: That only makes me stand by my words even more
