Narrator: MAJOR PHILOSOPHICAL QUESTIONS COMICS
Narrator: today's question:
T-Rex: Why is there something rather than nothing?
T-Rex: Because if there were nothing, then nobody could worry about it! THE END.
Dromiceiomimus: Pretty flippant answer to a major philosophical question, T-Rex.
T-Rex: Nah, I don't think so! It's DEFINITIONAL. With nothing, there's nobody to worry about ANYTHING. With something, there COULD be, therefore it's a PREREQUISITE for worrying about the universe that something BE there first!
Utahraptor: So all philosophy depends on something being there rather than nothing.
T-Rex: Exactly!!
T-Rex: You might as well ask "why are all books printed or stored on some sort of medium?" Because without 'em you don't get books, that's why! Geez, philosophers. If this is a major question you'e been struggling with, I don't know what you're gonna do when you get to the ACTUALLY hard ones!!
Narrator: NEXT QUESTION: IS THE UNIVERSE REAL?
T-Rex: Real enough that we can't tell the difference, and if we're fake nothing changes for us anyway! Come ON, philosophers!!
T-Rex: I CAN'T DO ALL YOUR WORK FOR YOU FOREVER
