T-Rex: He then spun up his home terminal, which connected to the global supercomputer MULTIVAC: a machine so large that parts of it could only exist in hyperspace. The terminal whirred and clicked as its calculating electronic brain produced a printout of the day's news, all of it personalized exclusively for him. His stocks were up... but his popularity was DOWN!

T-Rex: Hold on, we're getting to the best part!

T-Rex: "What changed?" Citizen Brown said, and his terminal clattered as it processed new data, this time showing that while 4 of his friends had liked that input, 120 strangers had shared it with THEIR friends under a privacy screen! MULTIVAC would tell him he WAS being discussed, but not what was said!

T-Rex: Gwendolyn's Omni-Patty, a chain of fast-service hamburger restaurants, soon began mocking Citizen Brown with the ultimate goal of selling more meat sandwiches.
