T-Rex: Sherlock Holmes looked at the evidence in front of him, deducing it was a classic purse-snatching. His brilliant mind then instantly deduced the victim, perpetrator, and cause!
T-Rex: "Elementary," he mumbled to himself, since Watson was off that day!
T-Rex: But then, as Sherlock examined the cause closer, he deduced that social and economic forces had conspired to encourage the perpetrator to steal, and thus full culpability could not be laid on one person. In fact, inequality in society was at least partially responsible too!
Utahraptor: So he arrested society?
T-Rex: No, he kept deducing!
T-Rex: And THEN he deduced that society was nothing more than the tacit expression of what its members agreed was acceptable or at the very least tolerable, and so deduced that EVERYONE was responsible for the crime, as they had allowed said society to take root!!
T-Rex: Luckily, Sherlock lived in HISTORY TIMES where things were way worse than now and children worked in coal mines, so his devastating conclusions did not apply to us, the readers!
Off panel: Oh, phew
