The haps: On the way back from PEI (it was a long drive) we listened to an audiobook of Anne of Green Gables. It was a dramatic reading version which was really good, EXCEPT for some reason all the lines of Anne's childhood friend Diane were performed by someone who sounded like they were 80 years old? It was initially hilarious but by the end I'd decided Anne had simply taken an old lady who was still in school as her bosom buddy. I am happy to inform you that this is canon. – Ryan | |||
