Narrator: COMPUTER SCIENCE COMIX
T-Rex: Computers use binary - ones and zeroes - to store, manage, and process information!
T-Rex: Well... actually...
T-Rex: Okay. YES, it's fully possible to build computational machinery based on non-binary systems, and some have been built using TRINARY, including the Soviet-era Setun machine, but: MOST computers use binary - ones and zeroes - to store, manage, and process information.
Dromiceiomimus: Well, ACTUALLY...
T-Rex: Okay fine!
T-Rex: Binary is ABSTRACTED as 1s and 0s but is really just if electricity is present or not.
Utahraptor: Well, ACTUALLY...
T-Rex: Okay. 1 is represented by high voltage, and 0 by low voltage, which isn't NECESSARILY the same as ZERO voltage. Therefore there is a threshold at which it is decided whether or not a given voltage represents a 1 or 0, and computers use this threshold to store, manage, and process information.
God: WELL ACTUALLY
T-Rex: No! NO.
T-Rex: I'VE LEARNED ENOUGH
