T-Rex: Sherlock Holmes, who wasn't real despite me thinking about him a LOT more than the VAST MAJORITY of real people actually alive right now, frowned.
T-Rex: His latest case was WAY too easy!
T-Rex: Someone had been found murdered, and someone ELSE had been found stuffing their blood-soaked clothes into a garbage can while muttering "I gotta get rid of this on account of the murder I just did". Pfft.
T-Rex: See, I just said this case was way too easy, and I was right!!
Utahraptor: Easy, you say? A little TOO easy? BECAUSE IT WAS A SETUP??
T-Rex: Nope!
T-Rex: There was no twist, no reveal: the clothes guy did it, the end. Watson was annoyed, because this case wasn't even a short story. It was barely a paragraph, and his audience wanted THRILLING TALES.
Utahraptor: Ah, so then WATSON started committing mysterious crimes so he'd have books to sell?
T-Rex: Again, no - both men simply went home and slept uneventfully.
