T-Rex: The Nirvana Fallacy is when you reject a solution to a problem because it's not perfect!

T-Rex: FOR EXAMPLE: some jabronis are still gonna not wear masks no matter what, so we shouldn't tell anyone to wear 'em! Wearing masks is not a perfect solution, and therefore should be rejected entirely!!

Utahraptor: So to reject this fallacy, we must accept that SOME progress is better than none?
T-Rex: Exactly!

T-Rex: We must accept that ours is a fallen world of imperfection, compromise, and inexact solutions.
Utahraptor: Wow, is the Nirvana fallacy TRULY the most depressing?
T-Rex: Not necessarily! Not if you accept that it's fun to lose, and to pretend!!
