| someone being gradually erased from wikipedia | REGRET INDEX: 0.5a regret index of 1 is ultimate regret this result collects the hard-earned experience of 2 lifetimes of regret permalink to this result commentsI don't regret this: if it's what they want, even though they're notable. No joke, just a comment. Sorry. Myke Hawke: [This article about a wildnerness hardman headcase is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it.] @first commenter: Really? Do you also believe that people should be able to ban newspapers from talking about them? Not if they've done something which is worth commentary: yes if it's just some gossip piece that draws on non-publicity media to leap to conclusions about their private life. What I meant when writing the regret was someone's wikipedia presence being pared back to just the salient facts. For example: your name and date of birth are matters of public record and it's not really reasonable to try and prevent an encylopedia from listing them.: But you may have been born into a religious denomination or have taken up religion, or put down religion. That's clearly a personal matter, and I think for things like that it's clearly fair to have yourself removed from the relevant categories.
