agent57: It's also self-perpetuating in the sense that, if you treat people as if they suck, they will probably be offended and mean to you as well. However, I agree with Kanodin that I still try to be polite to said sucky people,
agent57: and that many of the observations that lead to the hypothesis of "people suck" where situations in which I was merely an observer. I still say the attitude is valid.
sa: Taking the opposite attitude does nothing to counteract the suckiness of others; it just means that you've done the courtesy of lying down to whomever is presently trying to walk all over you.
