Jim: Christ is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Phil: I feel so much freer without faith. YB: this is the lowest regret index for a legitimate question i've seen so far. hell no i don't regret it! my mind is free, bitches! Appers: Religion is just organised denial. I'm pretty big on atheism! Danny: Free?! Free to fear. Ever truly contemplate nonexistence? It's not comforting. Anonymous: Still working out what I believe. Either way it turns out, for now, I miss the certainty. agent57: What if you just put it down for a while, and lost track of it, but you know it's still in the house somewhere? Dominica: I do good things not because it's god's will or because i will be punished but because they are good things. Greg: @Danny: Fear based on reason is better than comfort based on delusion. But there's really no reason to fear, what's scary about nonexistence? Dark Gnome: I LOST IT BUT IT WAS BEHIND THE COUCH SO I'M COOL Maddie: Oh no, I've said too much... Cat: It's cool, I found it again. But I'm glad I got to do some non-Christian stuff without the guilt! I mean...sorry Jesus Frito: I wouldn't have come back with as much faith if I never lost it to begin with. Jesus: Its cool. gzee: If by religion you mean car keys, I regret it every day. Me in the corner @ Maddie: You haven't said enough Thatjazzguy: Having been both Atheist and Christian, and now being a teenager who walks to church on his own to worship, i can say that Christ is much more real than you can possibly imagine. I preay for you. DD: Thank you for preaying for me teenage boy. I am ever in awe of your knowledge. t1m: I'm glad at least one person has made an REM reference. That's ME in the spotlight. Bruce: I'm the OP of this one. It was intended as an REM reference; I didn't think everyone was going to take it seriously! Of course, this is the Internet, so I really should have seen it coming... a witty username: I find it interesting, and a little sad, that everyone who took this question seriously seems to think that atheism and christianity are the only options. I know someone who: was a member of a cult, and was excomminucated; he badly misses having a religion, but feels like converting just for the sake of having any religion at all would be insincere and basically ruins the point. retrovisor: this is where all of the comments on the site are at.
