I thought that [sic] was usually used for that, too, or is that only with spelling? agent57: Also, I was thinking mostly of bath products, where it'll make an asterisk followed claim on the front, that will not be accompanied by a footnote anywhere on the bottle, and there isn't even a website to go to to find the footnote. agent57: It pretty much reads as "this information is fabricated, but we're not going to tell you how."
