T-Rex: In olden times to maintain a correspondence with someone, you'd have to write letters!

T-Rex: And THEN we invented ways to duplicate letters using carbon, and THEN, you could be kept in the loop via a "carbon copy"! Being CC'd on letters was great! You no longer needed to respond in order to still get fresh updates. T-Rex: All the hot goss, none of the effort!!
Utahraptor: And that led to email, which led to group chats! T-Rex: Exactly!!
T-Rex: NOW I can see messages and respond with a quick dashed-off emoji reaction, and IT STILL COUNTS. I get correspondingly less out of the friendship, but I get way more than I would from not being included at all! I can be INVOLVED in many more relationships than I would otherwise have time for!!
